An Honest Opening
A Decade of Artistic Exploration
Balancing my part-time role as a home shopper at Asda, I’ve dedicated my remaining time to exploring various mediums and subjects, striving to find my unique creative voice. This journey has been filled with experimentation, learning, and growth, each step bringing me closer to the art I create today.
Pivotal Moments
Two significant events have profoundly influenced my artistic development:
• First Group Exhibition: Participating in the Gemini Art Prize group show in South Kensington, London, was a transformative experience. It offered me the opportunity to showcase my work alongside talented artists, gaining invaluable exposure and feedback.
• First Art Fair: Taking part in the Borders Art Fair in 2022 allowed me to connect directly with art enthusiasts and collectors. This interaction provided fresh perspectives and inspired me to push the boundaries of my creativity.
Inspirations from Paris
A trip to Paris further enriched my artistic vision. Visiting iconic sites like the Louvre, Versailles, Musée d’Orsay, and even Disneyland Paris, I immersed myself in diverse art forms and historical contexts. These experiences ignited new ideas and motivated me to elevate my art practice.
